The university will provide fifth year institutional funding for students that are admitted to a limited set of programs that specifically require five years to complete. Eligible programs include:
- Combined General-Choral and Instrumental Music Education Program
- Orchestral Instrumental and Instrumental Music Education Program
- Architecture and Engineering Dual-Degree Program
- 3-2 Cooperative Engineering Program with Saint Anselm College
Students who do not complete their degree in eight semesters, change majors, are enrolled in a dual undergraduate/graduate degree program or choose to complete a dual undergraduate degree not listed above would not be eligible for fifth year institutional funding. These students, however, may still be eligible for federal funds and should apply for federal financial assistance by filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
